Our marketing manager, Eileen Conlon received the coveted ŠKODA ‘Marketing Person of the Year’ award in both 2014 and 2018. She was recognised for several innovative marketing campaigns that gained a lot of traction in the Sligo area. The effort and dedication Eileen has displayed over the years, is a key contributor to the rise in popularity of the ŠKODA brand within the Sligo region. We can expect many more successes from this accomplished professional.
In 2018, our sales executive, Eoin McGuinness won the National Final of the ŠKODA Challenge. The ‘National ŠKODA Challenge’ is a benchmark for measuring the qualities of the best employees in the ŠKODA network. He competed against the best ŠKODA sales consultants and sales professionals. A series of online exams were conducted which tested knowledge of ŠKODA history, the car models, ŠKODA technology, connectivity, car systems and customer car personalisation. Eoin is a valuable member of the Burns Car Sales team. His knowledge and expertise have greatly contributed to the success of the dealership.
The team at Burns Car Sales also received the 'Best Social Media in Connaught' award in 2019. The awards were hosted by CarsIreland.ie and Ulster Banks Lombard. The awards celebrated the most impressive marketing within the car industry in Connaught. Burns Car Sales secured the award based on clever utilisation of various social media tools, to better inform and enage with customers.
